After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

I answered once, sad computer scam wanting all your computer details, told them I had no computer, they rang off immediately!!! There was a gap of a few months and then my call minder registers they call, regularly, sometimes three times a day. I now screen calls with call minder but it is maddening to have to clear the call minder daily as they are not the only Company who harass in this way. Would be great if this kind of thing could be stopped for good.
