Telemarketer called and tried to sound like an independent insurance reviewer who wanted to make sure my life insurance doesnt lapse due to new legislation I tried to explicitly ask if they were a government body or private organisation and instead of giving me a clear answer he proceeded to say they are not trying to sell me anything and they work with all insurers and asked whether i had life insurance I asked for their website and was given httpwwwsearchlivecom basic webpage clearly spam

SCAM Caller ID listed a laundrette, claimed to be carphone warehouse. led the caller on for a while. Tried prying details.

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

SCAM regarding royal mail delivery

Automated messege saying an arrest warrant has been issued for tax evasion and Fraud. ???????? I'm not silly enough to fall for it but others might.

Received a text from this number: “Our driver Simon attempted to deliver your shipment today but no one was home. To reshedule a new delivery date, visit:”. I didn’t order anything, plus the URL link wasn’t working, and there’s a typo in the text too so I assume it’s a scam.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. This is a scam number. Claimed to be from BT Internet, ringing about other devices being connected to my BT Hub. (Rang off when asked why they thought other devices were being used without permission.)

Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.
