I've had so many of these and know it's a scam. My elderly brother went all the way through to speak to someone and realised at the last minute it was a scam so put the phone down but it worried him so much he rang his bank to make sure everything was alright. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. Was called by this number, which I missed so returned the call on three occasions for it to be answered and nobody talking on the other end.

An automated call saying that two unusual transactions had been made on my card , one of £300 to Amazon and another of £400 on a money transfer. Then proceeded to give ‘ press 1’, ‘press 2 ‘ instructions. I just blocked the number. This is a SCAM! AVOID engaging with them!

Scam call. For me, from Amazon, but it wasn't. Don't answer, just hang up.

SCAM 01482680047 pretending to be from the police to gather feedback and follow up an incident that had happened, this case was closed weeks ago so I knew this was a scam straight away. Looks as though the scammers have accessed the police database. They started the call with saying the call was recorded and I needed to consent to GDPR.

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.
