Claim to be BT for an upgrade the English person on the phone made me think its legit but it is 100 a scam I phoned BT back on the number on my bill and they said its a scam they had my contract end date wrong also they ask for a 4 digit pin they text to your phone BT NEVER ASK FOR A SECURITY CODE THAT HAS BEEN TEXTED TO YOUR PHONE THIS SCAM NEARLY GOT ME NOT BT

I think this is a loft insulation scam (poor phone line). Female, ?middle-aged? voice, southern accent. Mentioned British Lung Foundation, Perhaps said that some loft insulation is [harmful]. I just repeated that I can't afford it ; caller talked over me then terminated the call.........

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. Leaving un able to make receive calls.

This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.

SCAM- think this is a scam call. My mother has been getting a lot of calls that leave a voicemail messages asking for money to listen to the voice message I think this is one of those numbers. Avoid at all cost and block the number if you can.

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.
