Scam call. Pretending to be my banks fraud department. Had my name, address and were trying to get a code to purchase items from argos. Then preceded to harass me with multiple phone calls after I called them out for being fake.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.

They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

Contact us if this was NOT you via, 0333 339 4872”. Apparently both numbers in France. FFS fed up to the back teeth with scammers - LPA for my mum who has been scammed out of thousands of pounds. SPAM - this caller asked for our acocunts department, refused to say what it was about because of data protection then when he was told we were not interested he called back 4 times trying to get someone else - harassing in my book.
SMART filter on my phone tagged as suspected spam so didn't bother answering.
texted me this morning saying 'hi' but nothing else. supposedly a 'business account' on whatsapp but sent unsolicited message? blocked it and received exact same message from different number j 2 hrs later. idk if it's a scam but it's annoying and weird.
