Low down scum phoning on good Friday with amazon account scam. May they rot in hell.

Scam. Only got last 20 secs of call as it went to answerphone, but it asked for confirmation of charges to Amazon and Moneytransfer, neither of which I've used! Also an option to speak to "Fraud Team" Do not reply to this con. If you have any reason to believe it's true, contact your bank (etc) either by visiting the branch or at least use email/web address that you know is correct, not supplied by this means. A robocaller from "mastercard" saying £600 from my account was sent to a foreign country and to press 1 to cancel or something. Clearly a scam I never sent that much to any foreign country.

Call stating fraudulent bank card transactions detected (no bank named). Press 1 to cancel or talk to operator. Presumably pressing 1 will result in a charge.

This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.

I have a car for sale and someone called me saying he would be interested in the car, after I said it was no longer for sale, he started threatening me to pay him 100 pounds for the gas and the trouble. I want to clarify that I had just given him the 5 minute postcode and he should have come to see the car in about 5 hours when I was free.

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

This is 100 fraud and scam. He calls himself Dr. Paul Wilson (the same name on Facebook). He is using others’ pictures as his identity and send messages. Become friends and then asks for money. Be careful.

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything

SCAM asking to click a link that my bank account had a transaction attempted

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2 offering a 50% discount. Wanted me to read a one time code. I checked and I did have a text from O2 but the code said it was to retrieve my account and that O2 would not ask for the number. I told the guy this and he insisted that it was a promotional code and the warning meant I shouldn't tell anyone else about the number. Looked up the number and it wasn't connecte with O2. I demanded proof from the guy that he was from O2 and he got upset at me. SCAM!
