A false number and a scam call

SPAM, possible SCAM. Keeps calling from ‘Aldershot’ asking for phone model, and then says they can offer 40% off a SIM. The number is hosted by an online provider, meaning the number is being spoofed.

Pretending to be from Sky, telling me that there’s illegal activity going on, on my broadband, I told her that was my drug pusher, just to get rid of her, she didn’t know how to follow that, and hung up.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. Possible FRAUD and SCAM - AVOID

SPAM Person asked for a name that I have never heard of. I told him sorry, wrong number. He said "that's fine, what's your name please?" I said he doesn't need my name as he has called the wrong number and he got mad at me telling me that I'm rude and should tell him name. I hung up.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. They got angry so I called them out as the scammer they are and according to the scammer all UK people are idiots. Have reported it to action fraud.

Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like
