SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely a scam. Caller knew my name. Said scammers in Bulgaria have been using my name to trade & there's £88k sitting in an account he wants to transfer to me. All I had to do was download anydesk.com. No thanks. This is how scammers connect to your computer, take control of it and steal your money. When I hung up he called me back from a slightly different number offended that I had hung up. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE.

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. Caller who did not identify himself said he wanted to talk to me about my domestic appliances. He did not use my name or say what domestic appliances he wanted to talk about, or why he wanted to talk about them. What sort of weirdo rings strangers and tells the he wants to talk about domestic appliances?
Threatening phone call re a “non existent” outstanding balance on a television contract. After hanging up on them they immediately rang me back with a very aggressive attitude. Refused to accept that I don’t have such a thing and they responded by saying they would be withdrawing £400 from my credit card. I have alerted my credit card company that this has happened and hopefully it goes no further.

John from UK driveway company, a real human being with a genuine English accent, calling my TPS registered landline, thus making this call illegal, and I shall be reporting it to TPS and the police for immediate action, given that he rang on 2 consecutive days, with me finally deciding to answer on the 3rd call so add harassment to the charge sheet! I hope the judge puts on his little black cloth head covering when sentencing.
