Just had a telephone call from this number but it is an unknown number to me

This company keeps chasing me for a debt which they cannot provide the proof. I spoke with a marktaylor who was arrogant and sounded as if he didnt have clue what he was doing and kept mumberling. Well mark you had better grow a pair and find my proof of debt before i report you to the FCA.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Report this to HMRC on their fraud web site as I have. The more report it the more likely HMRC will investigate.

called me to arrange a home visit to measure up bedroom.

Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

They called me regarding an Insurance review but I've not as yet had any paperwork or email from them. Said they were doing a Government review.
