Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.

Keep getting called by the number and no one answers tried calling back and just cuts out

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.

Asked if I had been on all inclusive holiday in the last 2 years. Sounds like a claim for bad holidays

This call was supposed to be from Amazon telling me I had ordered something for 399 pounds.I get these calls nearly every day why don t the police get after these scammers.

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. Asian male stated name was Michael Jordan from Microsoft and they had info that my computer had been used and they wanted access. BE CAREFUL don t give them access as once in the can take personnel data from computer and blackmail you costing hundreds of pounds to unfreeze your computer
