Didnt leave a message - suspect they are cold calling me to try to sell their services

They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.

I ve had so many rubbish calls per day that I only answer my mobile. I wait till the phone stops ringing then get No. from 1471 if they have it. Half the time : "caller with held his No." I don t know if my present entry helps. I get these 10 to 15 times a day!..

left a voicemail saying who he was, company, reason for calling and a mobile number to call back on. very impressed

They call themselves Mortgage Review Centre. When I asked what could I do for them, they hung up. Scammers have no good manners anymore :-P...

A debt collection company who collect debts on behalf of eBay. My fees have been paid once then I got an email saying it d been withdrawn and I still owed fees to the sum of £25. Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again.
