Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

This number keeps calling myself and daughter. It hangs up once we answer, I ve never called it back incase I end up with a huge bill

Do not answer. My number is registered with the MPS (Mobile Preference Service) yet they still called. Claimed that they are from Assured Legal and that they are calling about an accident I recently had (not true). As soon as I tried to explain that their records were incorrect they hung up on me. Exceptionally rude and abusive

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

A man called to sell me cavity wall insulation. When i tried to find out details about his company he told me "You should go to hell". When I asked his name he said it was "none of your business". He then told me to "fuck off."

Just got one. Calling about my "minor road collision" I haven t had one so this is definitely illegitimate. When I asked who was calling they rang off. The chap was definitely Scottish so this probably is being run out of ScotlandEdinburgh. Thought we had laws against it!

Rude and persistent calling 5 times a day

An Asian gent called regarding cover on my washing machine when I advised him it had a 5 year guarantee then he said fridge freezer, a possible scammer.

This a an alarm monitoring company, I had 4 calls between 2.30 and 3.00 am but didn t hear the phone downstairs, got to work to find alarm had triggered during the night due to a sensor fault.

Got a text from this number today, 7 Sept. Never opened the text and deleted it straight away. I could see that it was some fake warning about a PayPal account being accessed from a new device. Since I do not have a PayPal account, I immediately realised that it was a phishing attempt.
