Rang briefly, but stopped before I answered it.

Phoned again today. He said something about washing machine warranty expired! Hung up when challenged! Idiots!

Caller rang my home and my husband answered, the caller asked for me by full name then when told I wasn t home he abruptly ended the call and hung up. Who are these people is it a scam?

My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. Quantitatively this is harassment:

They called this afternoon around 16:30. I did answer but there was no background noise so assumed it was a nuisance call and put the phone down.

Called at 12.30 today. Greeted with total silence.

Rang this morning and warned me that one of our computers was generating spam emails in my name. Mike Reed gave me a 32 digit number which he claimed was a Microsoft licence number for all our computers on our network. As I know that each computer has its own licences number I told him I would check this my self and call him back. He gave me this number which I am now checking. I will not be letting him give me any instructions for my computer or any other information as it is obviously a way to get more i

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. Had loads of these calls. After they speak, just tell them you are recording this call and will be charging them £10 per minute. They will soon F**K OFF.

Someone called me from this number and asked me if I was "my own name". I stupidly confirmed it and then confirmed my email address. They started telling me about an iPad that I had won. <> <> <> Then followed a lot of swearing on my part before they hung up. Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.

Phoned me did not answer, phoned the number back and it was a dead line, suspicious indeed

Amazon scammers

Asked for me by name required about a ppi claim. They knew my address.They had to ask me which bank it was thru. And very stupidly I gave him my date of birth. If nothing else they are fishing for information to make an identity theft from unsuspecting people.

Some weirdo called me three times in eight days and left strange messages.
