This is a faux number (as in faux fur), as it's got too many digits i.e. it's a spoofed / fraudulent / scamming / junk caller. :-)

This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

called at least twice a day for two weeks eventually answered and guy was so rude because i wouldnt discuss my life insurance said i had wasted his time god knows how said he wasnt the worst in the office and i was lucky to get him!!!!

Asked the caller for his name and name of the company he worked for. He just kept repeating my name, saying 1twas the same as his. I told him to remove my number from his list but he refused to do so saying it wasn t possible. I ve now blocked it.

This number has called me on several occasions and leaves no message. Call back the number and it s a message from LVM on behalf of a client. Telesales. You can call them back on 0800 013 6675 and remove your number from their services. It takes up to 5 days

This number is the personal shopper/account managers number for telephone and online DFS furniture orders, the only time this number will call you is if you have an order with them.

Do not talk to them, they are a scam. Use loudnoise down the line to get rid of them

I just had a call from this number it is an injury claims company, very rude not listening, ended up swearing at her and putting the phone down.

Had a missed call almost every day from this number for the last three week,call times vary, from 10am up to 7pm. When I called the number I was put through to Scottish Gas answer service.

Headhunter - decent conversation and no threat

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

claimed to be Nationwide building society, wanted me to confirm my name and post code. Hung up on me when I asked them what they wanted before confirming anything.
