not much to tell other than they seem to call me every other day, I do not pick up.

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

They called me today and asked for me by my first name to sell me a life insurance policy. When I asked them where did you get my contact details, they answered that it was from their search engine as I expressed my interest in such a policy in the past. I challenged them that I did t supply my information to be called for a life insurance product then she asked me if I have a family and how old I am. I declined to answer and then ended the call.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number.
