Recorded message with an American accent claiming to be HMRC pursuing legal action.

Fraud Sent me a txt message claiming to be from the Halifax saying I had set up a direct debit to screwfix and to call this number if I had not done this. Put me on hold then a chap with a foreign accent asked me for details, I said I will double check with my online banking and he hung up. Scam

As per the first comment, I received 2 texts 5 mins. apart claiming that EVRI hadn't been able to deliver a parcel........that I'd never ordered.......probably asking for banking details in the provided link.

Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.

01512039992 Fake Virgin Media. Had the same scam earlier today on another number- which I reported earlier.

Asian sounding women claiming to me that she is calling from EE, she asked if I have an account with her then when I replied ‘you should know’, she then proceeded to reply with an ‘oh my god’ and then hung up the phone.

Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. Today I called the number again answered Boots Opticians, I tried to make an appointment, asked for phone number, gave mobile number told it wasn't on the system, gave home number , not on system not on system! SCAM Fraud I’m am trying to find a trace this person who has scam me out of a lot of money by selling fake iPhones and stuff he sells on the Facebook marketplace then gets your money before you check the product and leaves immediately. I’m trying get the name connected to that number and trace the phone number itself. Please send some help on putting these people behind bars and hopefully get my money back.

Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

SCAM, claims to be from Amazon Prime asking for £95 to renew membership. I do not have or will ever have a Prime membership! Saw through it right away and reported it to Amazon who are ‘looking into it’!

This is a fraud. Please beware of this person.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
