Received a recorded call supposedly from HMRC saying there was a tax fraud case against me, if I do not press 1 then I will be arrested shortly.
SCAM left voicemail. When listened to it just said press 1 if you didn't make the payment. No mention of the company payment was made to or how much was paid etc. No introductions to their name or company name. Definitely a scam. Beware! don't press 1, it sounds fishy

An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. I told him that this was a lame excuse - hadn’t they heard of car hire? He kept saying “ we can foretell a breakdown” repeatedly! I had numerous calls this morning from 01243 885025. They didnt say who they were, but said I had not paid my telephone bill. I assure you that this is paid every month by DD
He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.
