For reassurance they gave me a different callback number to the one that had rung on my mobile, then asked if I would speak to my bank and request PPI information on their behalf while they kept me on hold. Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

This number is trying to send me a picture via mms on vodaphone. I do not have any contact with this phone number. I fear it is junk and I do not wish to open the attachment. This morning it sent me 3 of the same message in the space of four minutes. What should I do.

These people who purport to be from the UK Trade Register keep calling me on variations of the 020 3409 .... numbers and each time they call I tell them I m now ill (its not going to get better!!) and block the number. But they won t listen. The guy today just talked over me, ignored my comments and pleas to be left alone and continued bombard and talk over me. I eventually hung up. There must be something we can do to stop this sort of harassment.

Teleperformance is an outsourced call centre working on behalf of many different companies. It could be a sales call or one of the companies using the outsourced call centre might need to reach you i.e. Sainsbury s etc.

Picked up phone, could here people talking in background but nobody spoke to me and then they hung up after a couple of seconds

Called no message left. When I returned the call a real person answered alleging they were from HMRC. The call had very noisy background which sounded like a call centre. I immediately hung up the call.

Time wasters - called re an accident claim which I've never made. Asked them to remove my number from their listings and they hung up.

Answered call, two seconds later phone line went dead with no response. Could hear what sounded like a boiler room operating in the background. I am registered with TPS, but this doesn t seem to stop this kind of call
