Ignore these people. They feed of insurance details and are plain rude - ask too many questions and then they laugh and hang up. Not in the least professional so treat them the same and just hang up!

SCAM Some crap about marriage tax allowance - they hate it when you tell them that you will waste their phone call and tell them nothing! Very pushy and annoying - don't tell them anything, just annoy them back with useless rubbish, they soon hang up :)
13/07/2017 01393 847 125 called at 16.23. I didn't answer but got the number from dialling 1471. I am also ex-directory and registered with the TPS. I have a recorded message for cold callers on my phone. I keep a list of all unfamiliar numbers who call me and don't seem to have been called by this number or similar before.

Left an unsolicited, unknown number, automated voice mail on my moble about ppi I pressed 2 for them to contact me back and they rang me on this number The pest is ING I told them I just wanted to waste their time as much as they infringe my privacy
Update for my entry 19/04/17. Call from this number received after placing ad on Gumtree to sell a car. Caller spoke with South Asian accent, claiming to represent, MTA Solicitors regarding a Road Traffic Collision. I contacted MTA Solicitors directly. They do not make or condone cold calls whatsoever. Any cold call received where the caller purports to be from or acting on behalf of MTA Solicitors, should be treated as fraudulent.

I was cold called from this number by a female with a distinct Indian accent, who did not announce herself or why she was calling. When specifically asked she said her name was "Caroline" and purported to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering me a new mobile phone contract. However, the first question I was asked was about the phone I am currently using and my mobile phone provider. I had to repeat several times that I was not interested before she got the message and hung up.
