This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.
Just had a call from this number on my house phone. Lots of noise in the background but no one answered and they put the phone down. Called the number back and number is not recognized, so obviously a scam.
This is not the way the Inland Revenue does business so if you get this number please ignore it

The call came supposedly from Virgin Media. When I said if it was Virgin then could she tell me my name? She just laughed and laughed then said she had a cold!! I hung up.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

Claimed he is Saudi Hajj ministry representative and wants to refund some money which will come in 45 working days. He was trying to convince me it is against the complaint I made. SCAM This caller has dialled my mobile telephone several times but never leaves an ID or message. Last call was a message of a drunk attacking an electronic guitar. Caller has a low forehead, low social skills, drags knuckles on the floor, exists on fruit and likely defecates on its floor. A stranger to soap and likely communicates with grunts.
I received a call from this number saying someone had bought something on my account for £700 and if this was not me to press 1. The voice was female and well spoken. I put the phone down, then checked my Amazon account. This purchase had not been made so probably it is a scam.
