I received a call from this number saying someone had bought something on my account for £700 and if this was not me to press 1. The voice was female and well spoken. I put the phone down, then checked my Amazon account. This purchase had not been made so probably it is a scam.

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Got a call from this number again asking for Mr Armstrong but did not say who they were, I told him the Armstrong’s have not had this number for about 4yrs to which he apologised and put phone down. We have been getting calls from this number for about 3yrs, I always the same thing as we do not know anyone with that name and they always call again!!
The second one today from the same stable - only the 2 digits at the end are different. Both calls from Manchester. There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! 01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

Colder Caller DBS - Direct Business Solutions taking advantage of the current affairs with Ukraine to try and sell utility business solutions. I said several times politely to take our number off the call list, asked to speak to the right person, I said no they wouldn't be interested and to again take the number off their list, said the managing directors name and again stated we we were not interested. He was very cocky, rude and would take no for an answer so cut him off.

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.
