Contacted from this number by automated contact stating it was ‘bank security’ advising I had money taken from my account and asking me to press a number to speak to someone. Did not feel it was genuine at all.
An Indian sounding lady called to say I owed money on a three sim only contract with them. She claimed I had started a new contract with them in May. This was untrue as I had transferred my contract to Smarty when my contract had ended with them in June. Conversation got quite heated and I asked to speak to a manager. Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.
