I received call from this number claiming to be reporting that my desktop computer had been hacked. Suspicious. Caller broke off when I expressed doubts about veracity of his claims.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.
SCAM Claiming to by Lloyds - a bank I don’t even have an account with. Text message saying “You have requested £829.99 to Asim Khan DEBIT will reflect shortly on your accounts. Contact us if this was NOT you via, 0333 339 4872”. Apparently both numbers in France. FFS fed up to the back teeth with scammers - LPA for my mum who has been scammed out of thousands of pounds. They need shooting.

They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. I've got the call. When I picked up, some guy was laughing. Later a guy mentioned he was from my O2 provider company. I am not currently under contract with the O2. Then he laughed and hung up. I wasn't sure if this call was from a house with joking kids or if this was a real company. If that is a company, they have to have more attention to training their people to behave.

"David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.
