Probably the same case as previously reported 01386244364 - ambulance chasers, insurance company. Not interested. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (wery usefull for call centres). No problems.

Same issue, just asked if it was me, I said yes, they hung up.
Just got a a call from this number saying that they are British gas and asking me for a payment on top of my monthly direct debit payments. Was a very suspicious call and reported it to British Gas direct, who know nothing about it or why they are calling, as I owe no money to them to be making more payments over the phone.... A very aggressive person too, just kept asking for me to pay money over the phone. DO NOT TALK TO THESE - HANG UP AND CALL BRITISH GAS DIRECT TO QUERY IT STRAIGHT AWAY..
