An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

Rang my house saying they calling from frontline servers. The Indian sounding caller told me my name, phone number & address and asked me to confirm if they re correct. I asked who am I confirming it with and why do they need to know and he said I just need a yes or no he s from frontline savers and they are just doing a telephone verification. I said no and hungup

A well spoken English accent for a change from the usual child caller. They at least had the business owners name for a change but the usual failure to state their name or purpose was present, my suggestion that the owner had gone to Tunisia for the summer will, no doubt, fail to put them off their mission of calling every day for the foreseeable future.

Prerecorded have you or someone you know had a car accident message that ended abruptly. When I called back I had a message saying the number does not exist.

Called our business 3 times! Talk about persistent. Clearly told not to phone back and she didn't get the message.

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.
