Had this number call me this afternoon while at work didn't answer ,come home and Googled the number to find its about timeshare.while looking through these comments they rang again on a different number same area code.

SCAM Pretending to be from D&G (Domestic and general) about my washing machine cover. Told me the price had gone down and just needed my sort code to identify it was the correct account. Gave him that and then he wanted the account number. Said it had to be done for my protection as it was a new direct debit for the new amount. “What can we do with just those numbers? The person/persons from this phone number have been phoning my mobile for nearly a week now so I decided to answer just to hear some clown say a sentence speaking in some foreign language of sorts then he swiftly put the phone down whilst sniggering...this sounds like a work place as I could hear quite a few people talking in the background.Please dont answer the phone to these idiots as they seem to be getting some sort of weird satisfaction in it.

A woman with a foreign accent knew my name. She identified she was calling from ‘Advantage’. I told her I was working and she said she would be really quick but had a few questions about households. I repeated that I was working and hung up. Advantage deal with Pets. We don’t have any pets, nor have we ever had any pets, so whoever passed them my details did not do their research.

I didn t answer but on Who Called seems to be those call centers who tell you had an accident to sell you an insurance or like that...so...blocked.
