I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.

Have been rang by this number at least once a day for about 3 weeks - I normally miss the call as I don t have my phone on my at work. On the one occasion I picked up no one said anything on the other end when I said Hello then they put the phone down. I tried to ring back but it went the the guardian newspaper voicemail - I have no connection with the guardian so I don t think its very legit!

Spam phone call, busy call centre type background. Ring constantly and ask for Violetta in regards to her online trading account. Told them that is not my name and to please remove my number and got shouted at down the phone that they "don't care what your name is I will keep ringing more often".
I received a call from this number and I knew there was something odd about it as when I said I do not have a mobile or lap top the phone went dead and I rang the number back guess what no answer the number was traced to manchester area
