this number called me today. Foreign voice, said i had unfortunately downloaded some viruses, and if i followed their instructions "we" could make it safe again. They were apparently from windows. after a few minutes i told him i knew exactly what they were up too, and i wasnt going to fall for it
Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
Do not accept calls - rude and aggressive. Trying to sell and talking about "BDA"

this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. Returned this call to find out more because it is not listed in any database of who called me numbers. Got a message machine that said mailbox 876, recording and then simply instructions for leaving your recorded message. I see that there have been 135 searches for this number as of 24 Jan 2017, but no results. Very odd.

Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.
