My wife received numerous calls from this number, caller insisted they were from Vodafone. We told the caller that we were not interested and he got very very aggressive , and refused to delete my wifes details from their database After this I did some digging and found out the caller is actually calling from a company called Webhelp TSC. Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! Text received supposedly from Royal Mail saying I needed to pay fees of £2.99 for a parcel to be delivered or else it would be returned to sender.
They knew my name, then proceeded to tell me that they were from the London Information Office and that I have made £39,740 in profit. I have no investments. Eastern European or maybe Turkish speaking English. Fake office noise in the background was too loud. Thieves.
