Phone twice said calling on behalf of Northampton Council, looking for contact details of the site manager in charge of one of our sites down south. We dont have any? Told them this on both occasions. They said their details must not be up to date?? Probably just some marketing company trying to get a foothold within companies so they can bombard us with emails etc.

I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Scammer with automated message stating it was my bank.. Claimed a transfer of £600 had been blocked to western union and asking me to dial 1 to connect to an operator. I hung up as I don't even have £600 and checked with my online banking for any alerts. Nothing there.
It sounded like an automatic voice, I think. It was definitely more than one voice and it didn't seem like a live person talking with me.
