Woman with Indian accent pupporting to be from 'Online Support' and is Microsoft licensed, lol Asked me to sit in front of my computer and follow instructions. So obvious a scam!

Clicked on a side item in Facebook ( Sean Connery loss???) and message both textual and voice came up as message from Microsoft that my computer was infected with spyware and my bank account details could be stolen and to phone their toll free number immediately. I recognised immediately that it was not a tollfree number but a premium rate number and immediately shut down and restarted my p.c.

Received a text from this number saying they were Lloyds bank and asking me to confirm that I had set up a new payee on my account, (which I had not) by selecting a link which no doubt would have ask for my bank details. Fed up of these scams and the disgusting beings behind them.

Fraud Of the worst kind Attempting to cause anxiety. Recorded message says it’s HMRC, it is not Says phone back immediately or a warrant will be issued for your arrest. Some will be worried enough to do this but nothing good will come of responding I am also reporting to police.

Automated call telling me that my internet would be disconnected in 4 hours and to press 1 to arrange a replacement. SCAM

Has been phoning 3 times a day trying to sell life insurance. Told them I am not interested and as soon as I have asked how they got my number, or asked what company they are calling from they immediately hang up. Total time wasters. If you have Caller ID, don't even bother answering your phone!

Connected two calls together to one sales rep. When I chirped up, they hung up. Number blocked.
