The first caller said they were from BT and they would be disconnecting me from the Internet because of faults on my computer, or something like that. It was actually difficult to understand them. I put the phone down. The second call I took slightly further by telling the man that he was not from BT. He said I was a fool to think that so I told him he was the fool and also a criminal

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
