They called me to say they were from Scottish Widows Life Insurance Review Team and it was for 12 month review to check my details. I don't have life Insurance with Scottish Widows so I knew it was a scam and when I questioned where they had my details from they ended call. Had a call at 11.25 today from this number with an Indian sounding man telling me that my computer had been compromised at around 01:00 this morning and they wanted more information from me so that they could investigate the hacker. He gave his address as British Telecom and, since I don't have an account with them, I thought is sounded very like a scam. The fact that the call seems to have come from India made me very suspicious.
