Claims to be from O2 wanting to discuss my contract. I'm not on O2, but my number used to be on O2 many years ago, so I know it's a scam

Automated call; supposedly from bank, but no name of bank mentioned. Two allegedly suspicious transactions mentioned. followed by a press-button menu. When I called my genuine bank it was confirmed there were no suspect transactions.

Number called me, no one spoke on the other end of the call. I hung up and called back and the number wasn't recognized.

Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. Today I called the number again answered Boots Opticians, I tried to make an appointment, asked for phone number, gave mobile number told it wasn't on the system, gave home number , not on system not on system! This nomber phone calls isfrom Housing damages and they islike holpe to report but is scamed and the lady who was call me is Indian accent and I was ignore her and I was say I will report to police. Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.

The caller pretends to be calling from Vodafone, offering discounted line rental and handset. Ask for an excessive amount of personal details.
