when is this system going to be updated to cope with the fact that displayed and 1471 numbers are not reliable? This number called me at 09:30 on a bank holiday and followed the usual fake call centre routine of no-one there to start with then suddenly burst into life (and I hung up beofre hearing what they had to say). I don't believe for one minute it was the genuine BFM office, they would have no reason to phone me even during normal working hours. Faked number!

Have not answered this unknown number but multiple call have been made to me from it. No messages every left so for now classing the number as 'Annoying'. If was important a message would have been left. Will update if any further information is found on this number.
strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This number called my mobile. I ignored it as number I did not recognise and they did not leave a message. I have not disclosed my mobile number to anyone I do not know. I suspect that they are dialling numbers to see if they get a response and that it is a computer dialling the number. If there is no response within a certain time it dials the next.
Clearly a scam. Caller had very poor English and claimed to be calling from O2. I don't have abs account with O2 so I hung up.
