SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Got a call from this number claiming to be my current network provider, Vodafone giving 40% discount (...and I am not even with vodafone).. Was asking my name, address, email address etc.. Gave all bogus information and he abruptly hung up after realizing that I am taking him for a ride... Very likely a fraud call trying to extract information

Cold called me and said I had asked for a home owner loan - I had not. When challenged there was an excuse ready regarding a re-dial but this did not seem remotely plausible. I suspect it’s a Phishing/Finance scam - please beware!
