claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. ***SCAM*** Called me at 14:13 30/04/2020 with a recorded message pretendimg to be a large company and telling me my internet would be cut off in four hours if I did not call my provider then asking me to press 1 to call the provider.
Appears to be an automated scam calls saying illegal activity on internet and disconnecting in 24-48 hrs.
SCAM - Automated call - they told me they were from my internet service provider (but didn't give a company name) and that there had been illegal activity so they were going to cut my service.. unless I pressed 1 to speak to an adviser.
