Fraud SCAM Called insisting they were from O2 and wanting my account information. They were quite aggressive and forceful - I have had more than one call from similar numbers from Bodmin and all trying the same thing. O2 have been informed and calls reported

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. Scam Automated “From Amazon” call advising my account is about the be renewed for £79.99 Hung up as it’s clearly a fake/scam call.

Instantly hung up. Seemingly has a full inbox when called back from withheld number. Likely scammer.

It charges you money

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.
