This number calls daily, when I block it the final digit changes,descending order. Also leaves an automated voice message which is impossible to understand apart from the words “nothing to worry about, we will call you again”

Called on Friday. Didn t answer as suspected it might be dodgy. Glad I checked on here as it seems it is dodgy. Ignore it, let them waste their time.

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

Asked for me by my first name which I challenged as he did not know me and he went on to say it was a follow up call regarding an accident I d had in the last three years. Have blocked the call. This is the second call like this from a local number...I m guessing this is a new tactic.

Had a call but missed it rand back but no answer

caller didnt announce himself, just asked me to confirm personal details but when i asked, he claimed to be from "the nationwide". He had my name, phone number and postcode. He wanted me to confirm my age but as soon as i asked him further questions he hung up and ended the call. This was obviously not a legitimate call from the nationwide building society.

I asked for more details and he hung up This morning he phoned again and again said he was from Chase Alexander and wanted to speak to my husband. When I asked him what he was calling about he said it was in regard to an accident. I informed him my husband had not had an accident could he be more specific. this number is local to me but seems not to be located here. Liverpool accent but National Hearing Clinic does not exist, it seems. Similar claims supposedly based on my industrial history have been used by pseudo-companies in recent years, shown by Google search

Prerecorded have you or someone you know had a car accident message that ended abruptly. When I called back I had a message saying the number does not exist.
