They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!

no message left, obviously didn't realise they were still on the line. voices in the background sounded like they had an Indian accent and I could not understand the language they were talking in. Obviously power dialling as my telephone provider uses UK call centres. As to motive? don't know but should not be cold calling my number

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
Pretended to be avon. Even had my account number. This is fraud. Do not pay these people money.

Took a couple of calls from these guys about 2 different main contractor projects. Decided to listen and they took me onto both project documents, one was too big for us but the other was just over their £50,000 banding and was local so we asked to price the work. The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.
