Been called four times a day for the past three days from yhis number. Every time is a different scam. First they said they were my bank. Second time they were M&S, third they were trying to "make my computer secure" because they could see it had been accessed from Africa. The scams never end. Finally I said "you do know you re ringing a neighbourhood police station don t you?" And the caller hung up and so far hasn t rung back!

SPAM about some traeding stuff, ignored my gdpr complaint and stated that will spam me every day.
Pretty sure call was from Sky. Was able to verify person was from sky by asking them information about my account and login on to the online mysky portal and verifying it (correct information about how long I'd been a customer, what my package was, when my direct debit went out and how much it was discounted). Was a phone call to try and upsell products.
Silent call
When called there is an American voice recorded message "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line & you will be transferred to next available agent..." It then plays music while caller holds. Long wait times, if you get connected to the agent. This seems to be a growing trend with different numbers continually changing. Potential fraud or scam.

Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.

I ve had a call from this number during the last year on several occasions, who rang off when my answer phone tripped in without actually leaving a message. At first I put it down to a miss-hit finger on a wrong key which can happen to anyone. But three times?Next time whoever calls I might decide to knock on their door (property photo listed which I recognise) to see why they keep calling? Claiming to be from UK Tariff and that Sky customers have been overpaying their accounts and they want to check my payments are OK. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.
