Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
Having established that this is an Ipswich number and not knowing anyone with that number or who is on our contacts list I ignored it assuming that this was another cold caller....

SCAM / SPAM I suspect a scammers phoned me claiming there is a tax fraud under my name. Telling me to press 1 and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly. Of course I just hung up, no fraud office, tax or otherwise would conduct itself in this manner.

company called saying that they was from my life insurance company and was due to review my policy . when said that if wanted wanted to change i would call the provider they said dont understand and argued. rang my provider they said never heard of them and you ring them to update or review any policies they dont ring you reporting it , So possibly a scam . Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! Quite suspect in my opinion. The number is for a money transfer place in SE London. Shown in Yell.com.
