Called asking for someone by name, who doesn't live at this address any more. I asked, who's calling please? They repeated the name. I asked again, who's calling please? and they repeated the name AGAIN. I then said,. NO, Mr X isnt calling, you are... Who are you? to which they muttered,. SCAM : Told me a payment of £310 had been completed on my Virgin Money account. I might have been worried if I had a VM account, which I don't. They wanted me to contact +44(0)7342610274 to confirm Y or N.
TPI apparently, just checking I wasn't getting too many sales calls! Then asked for me to check my credit card I have with them (?). It's up for renewal and they wanted to check I'd received my new one, which is a miracle in itself, because I have none. Sounded like a call centre, man had strong Indian accent. Hung up

This person is an absolute nuisance and does not take no for an answer. Continuously calls my business landline. He called at least a dozen times yesterday.

I believe this is a scam. I let call go to answerphone, message said they were checking 2 charges, 1 from Amazon, 1 from international banking.
