False number used for phishing, information theft, harassment
SCAM Automated message claiming to be from Amazon regarding fraudulent activity on my account. Apparently a transaction of £1499 had been charged to the card linked to my account. Number now blocked!
The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

Seemed to know the details of a minor accident I was in a few months ago such as the date and my registration number. The line was quite poor but the person claimed that the other party had finally admitted responsibility (FOUND TO BE A LIE WHEN I CONTACTED MY INSURANCE COMPANY 10 MINUTES LATER).
