Claimed to have got details from HMRC as to who exactly lives at address and how old they are. Claims to be from a thermal cavity wall company and they have details from a database as this work was done 10 years ago now and needs to be updated so want to do a survey within next 24 hours as they are in the area. Told them we were on TPS but they said that does not apply as they have records from HMRC!! Chap went on to try and arrange appointment - said I was not interested so put the phone down. They have tr
SCAM reporting to come from HMRC advising a warrant has been put out for an arrest and to press 1 to go through to who’s dealing with it - never asked for anyone by name just a machine. Highly unlikely HMRC would call they would write if there was a problem.
