This number called this morning claiming to be from my broadband provider and said there were problems with my broadband. Told him I had no such problems and said goodbye. He knew who my broadband provider is. I’m not sure how to rate this because I don’t listen any further. How easily could he con someone else to do what ?

SPAM. I have been getting 2 calls a day on my mobile for several months. every call uses a different number. Until recently these numbers were from a lady speaking Chinese, who then switched to English prompting a message that indicted. This lady, says each she represents a selection of companies, including parcel services, internet companies etc... This number has rang me twice now, the male on the other end says, you have just rang this number. Yesterday I told them no I haven't and they asked who it was, so I asked who they were. They said you rang this number and I reiterated I hadn't and they said you have, so I said no I haven't and told them to go away and put the phone down. Today they said again you have just called this number, so this time I told them to get lost and put the phone down. I don't know this number possible new scam going on

I've just had a call from this number and it is a genuine number from Nationwide building society, They were calling to update me on a problem I had reported.
SPAM Associated with one of the emails 'notifying' me of my Norton renewal and that some money will shortly be taken from my account. Comes from a gobbledegook.gmail address
Insurance, claiming to be calling about your life insurance saying they may be able to find you a better deal for your life insurance, asks the basic questions, but wants your account number and sort code to setup a direct debit by the end. Unsure if they are a legit company or not as obviously ended the call before giving details.
This number was included in an email saying I had an invoice to pay from PayPal. It is certainly a scam email.
