My partner received numerous calls saying his number was on some guys girlfriends phone we quickly realised it was an automatic recorded voice as if you don t speak it carries on speaking as though having a conversation ect. I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

This number has just rung me when I answered there was no one there despite me answering on the second ring. I have got no idea who this is but Despite being registered with TPS we are still getting lots of unsolicited calls who when we answer there is no one there. There should be something which can be done to stop this

I've had 2 unknown numbers from Liverpool. One 'following an accident I've had' ... and the other call the line went dead. Have blocked both now.

This is a total scam. Microsoft would never call you out of the blue, an 0208 number is no where near Reading, and the second number looks like a total invention.
