Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

01606721310 called my landline today 13/12/22 at 9:10am. Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. If I wished to question or check it to dial 1 or 2. This is clearly a SCAM after my banking details as I have not purchased anything from Amazon. I therefore class this call to my landline as DANGEROUS

SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

A foreign lady called at 1425 6/1/22 saying she was from the BT technical department to tell me about my IP Address. I said are you really from BT, she replied with “the BT technical department’. To quiz her more I asked what do I have to do - she said nothing.

Female who claimed her name was Grace Parker used this number to try and scam my 75 year old father in law out of £400 using a scam involving Nationwide building society. luckily the transaction was stopped in time and he didn't end up £400 worse off. The local Police have been informed and are investigating.
