Indian Amazon scam! Hang up

Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

Phone number - UK landline - 01174526780 called my unregistered landline. On picking up the call, there was NO RESPONSE from the caller - be it from a BOT or Person who initiated the call. - I then returned the call with my number with-held and a BOT replied "This number is not in service" !! . This 'who called me service' identified the number above as UK - Bristol. Specifically 104 Victoria Street. - If this is a legitimate number from a legitimate business, why would they engage is such pract

SPAM Said it was sky broad band and wanted to do a emergency check as our bills are going up. Said my name was the mean name on account which is wrong as it is not. I hung up.

SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

Automated call - voice said i have now been charged £500 to my credit card for an Iphone which i dont like or use. Calling the number back and it is not possible to connect the call.

Fraud recorded message, Helen from some energy company.

Claiming to be calling from the "UK government" and "track and trace" asking about vaccination status and whether I've received a "vaccine certificate". Asked about the purpose of the call, she said it is to update my records. Informed her that is very interesting as the UK government does not issue "vaccine certificates" as it is all held in the NHS app. She then terminated the call. Suspected scam call beware.

4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

Telephone call from 07830 379315 at 13:25 on 9 May, 2023. Caller said "hello" then hung up 8 seconds later. Suspect call to be scam or fraud. Advise block telephone number. Fraud, SPAM, SCAM.

Fraud A well spoken man allegedly called "John" saying he understood I was the the homeowner which I declined to answer and started banging on about solar panels. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Like many other reports I am TPS registered, so if a genuine company they are breaking the law. If a scam, as I suspect it is, of course also illegal. Have NOTHING to do with this number and "company" !!

Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.
