SCAM - My elderly mother received a call on her landline from this number (01536 210272) today 4Aug approx 5.10pm. Polite male caller asked her to confirm her name and address which he told her and she did. He said he was from BT and told her as she'd been a loyal customer, having never reported a problem, she was being offered a 35% discount on her bill. It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. One minute later on 07703290831 they rang back and started to be very abusive saying that I should not have hang-up on them. Both numbers have been blocked.

This came up on the phone display as a name/number in my contacts list. Then an Indian voice spoke and told me I was a valued customer and drivelled on in broken dialogue. I put phone down on him. 1471 told me it was this number and the call has appeared in my WhatApp.
